hi wondering if any one have this issue before ?? oil leak in this area of engine between i think is starter and oil filter , did my research find couple pic and one video on youtube , find problem related to those part 23013334 and 23013323 (oil piston control valve - oil thermostat valve) , i dont have any cheek engine or any symptom issue when i driving or any other, its just oil leak around those part ,
part price Volvo D $210 can-dollar for 23013323 oil piston control valve and
    $320 can-dollar for 23013334 oil thermostat valve.
i pulled DY those part out connect 12v DC nothing wrong with valve work fine both, the only think not sure its case the leak its O-ring seal , if i replace the O-ring seal only IMG_2232.jpg you think will fix the leak or the leak come from the valve it self ?????? i attach pic for the valve and my truck leak area .
    thanks for any help

Leak is coming from where the harness goes into the valve. Very common problem. Valve needs to be replaced.
Do you have the extended engine warranty? Extended warranty covers for 5 yrs/ 500,000 miles and that part is covered.

You can replace the o-ring if you want, but it won’t stop the leak. It’s not leaking from the o-ring. It’s leaking from the epoxy sealer where the wire harness goes into the end of the valve. All 20 of our 2013 leaked and were replaced under warranty. It’s a very common problem.
