Is there a place on this site where you post the type of job you are looking for?
I would really like something local, a roughly 8 hour day, 40 hour workweek, steering wheel holder. For example haul item X from A to B 200 miles away then haul item Y from B to A.
Another possibility is to be a "relief" driver. For example some company is suddenly short drivers and they need someone for a day or a week. So I would then be like a gig/relief driver for whatever company needs that. Needless to say that type of driving job would be a steering wheel holder type job as there would not be time to train you do something more involved than that. Do these kinds of jobs exist? I have 2 months experience. I am looking for CDL A or CDL B.

Personally, I would not give up my day job while looking for that new one though.
