Hey everyone, how's everyone doing these days?

Let me intro myself, my name is Michael and my 20 is Michael The Semi Truck Driver. May sound uncool but it's what I've been rolling with for 18 yrs. Prior to that for my first 2 yrs I went by Chicken Clucker (got tired of clucking like a chicken all the time)

I've done a lot of different aspects of trucking over the years. Started in 48' & 53' dry box as a co driver then moved onto lease op specialized back to previous to auto transport to auto transport o/o to auto trans co driver to dispatcher, load planner, safety advisor, to back being a co driver hauling port containers. May get back into auto trans as a o/o but not 100% sure yet. Married to a beautiful wife, have kids, dogs, the whole kabootle.

I like helping people know trucking, the kind of Trucking ya learn not from a school, not from a trainer, but from living in it and dealing with it. If made craploads of mistakes over the years. Thought if I can learn from them maybe others can too.

I read the rules and have just 1 question about them. I do have a website and a YT channel. I'm not interested in spamming anything. Is it okay or not okay to reference any material that would help answer someone's question?

I'm part of another group on FB where I'm active mostly on weekends (same would be here, it's not my I FB group) I answer questions and to be honest out of hmm maybe a doz to 20 questions I may or not reference 1 thing to better help explain something. I don't give one worded answers, if anything I type to much info lol. Let me know so I don't get banned. Be smart, be safe, and il see ya on the flip flop.

Welcome to TruckersReport, Michael. Thanks for reading the rules. You were obviously picking up on the 'No advertising' part of the rules, and yes, that restriction on advertising does mean that we don't want you using our site to advertise or link to your own site or channel.

Thanks for taking the time to help other members, and we certainly don't mind if you type a lot to do it. We just ask that you answer questions to help the members here without promoting your own website or channel.

    Answering questions is no problem.

Just wasn't sure if could do something like explain an answer through words then let the individual know if they needed to reference a chart for example could go to blah blah blah to make understanding easier or if they need to see answer in action they could go to blah blah blah channel persay that relates to question.

On my profile it has a spot to input info for "homepage".. based on rules I'm not sure what exactly is okay in that spot lolz
