I agree, but heres a problem with that.

If they did that, companies would push the drivers harder (most likely), and the pay would stagnate even more.

The only real way I can see that happening, if the pay is hourly, with ot, and some other things in there too for the otr drivers.

Frank, I'm betting you fly more than 70 a week. Correct?

If Covenant ever came out from under the forest into the light of day, they should combust due to all the promises rendered by recruiters.

You never trust or follow a recruiter. Once you are assimilated into training, they move on to the next fresh meat.

One recruiter in FFE was also a dispatcher in Memphis. I crossed swords with him a time or two. HOWEVER he was a better dispatcher than a recruiter ha... Like I was anything good myself in my time.

If, by chance, he is on ELD's, I don't want to know where he plugs in that device to monitor all of his "movements" :biggrin_2559:

It could always be worse, most of europe is on 9 hrs of driving and a break every 4.5 hours with 60 hrs over a 2 week period. Thats was 2 years ago

Yes, but truth be told, I rarely work more than 50 hours a week. But, I’m very lucky to have the gig I have. They are far and few between.

Leaves lots of time for neck biting!

The trick is to work as little as possible and still earn that +-$1300/week.

There is no such thing as a Monday to Friday
Job in a truck with a sleeper.
The week starts when it starts, and ends when
    It ends.

You should never again in your trucking career
    Believe that lie.
If the CEO himself tells you it's Monday to Friday,
    He's lying.
