Brushing teeth in restrooms

that's been going on for years 30 years since I've been driving..
that's when I look at the buffet I'm leary when I see chocolate pudding up there wondering what's on those spoons

 

exactly where else wipe down the sink lay down some paper towels and put your toothbrush on there or your toothpaste I don't understand some of these comments are beyond Ludacris where they think they're going to do just stand there and dip brush in the toilet or something?? WTF

there would be times, i'd grab a FRESH clean magazine or local newspaper at the truckstops..that would be MY place-mat in the restroom....

i dunno, i think way too many basement/cellar dwellers before they became truckers.

 

Portland/Seattle on the north end and nothing south of Fresno...through the house (outside Sacramento) at most every third day. I haven't used a truckstop shower in 12 years....when you have to think twice about even using the ####ter due to the used butt-wipe tossed in the corner of the stalls, let alone the stench as soon as you walk in the door.....I've been in some Honey-buckets that smelled cleaner, and were cleaner than many T/S facilities.....no thanks, I'll go the extra 15-20 miles to the house.

 

somebody had to say it exactly that's what I said to what in God's name are they doing?
you walk in with your little ziplock bag your toothbrush holder your toothpaste you take a piece of paper towel and put it on the sink next to you..you put the toothpaste on you put the toothpaste on the paper towel you proceeded to brush your teeth and then you rinse your mouth and you leave I do not understand what the heck these people are doing or where in the world are doing this at the YMCA or something? IT ONLY LEADS ME TO THINK IT'S DREDGING UP BAD MEMORIES?? LOL PERHAPS IT'S REPRESSED CHILDHOOD OR SOMETHING BUT ENDED UP HAPPENING TO THEM WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG RIGHT??

 

would that then, make the sink, a bidet..????

Wait, how are you guys brushing your teeth? Little dab of toothpaste. Little squirt of water. Nothing's even touching the sink. Or the counter. Or anything really if your conscious of germs. I see no problem. Regardless, I brush camping style quite a bit. Brush with some paste, water bottle to rinse if you'd like. Pee on a bush. Move on.

Edit: I did have a buddy who kept a small kit in his locker at work and would brush his teeth in the bathroom after breakfast and after lunch. Owner came in (rare) to use the can and seen him brushing his teeth, fired him on the spot.

 

I always accidentally splashed water on their toothpaste or whatever they had lying on their paper towel.
