CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

How do you handle the insurance for a rental car, if you don't own a car that you have an insurance policy on?

Several years ago, when I changed jobs and lost a company vehicle that I had, when I rented a car at Enterprise, because I had no personal auto insurance, I got Enterprise's damage waiver and liability coverage and the insurance costs per day was just as much as the rental cost.

 

That's why I went to Turo. Insurance is cheaper! At the car rental companies, it a profit center within the organization

 

Local sends me to customer to be there at 1600... Gets message halfway there saying eta changed to 2200. I get here and there's a total of 8 CFI bobtail that were told 1600... This is a joke right? Guess I'm doing an 8-2 in the customer shipping lot. I'll be picking up at 2400 smh not my fault..

 

Is there a way to set a Max height on these dang seats on the truck. So annoying whenever I go to stand up they push me up and pull down my pants. And tired of riding in it with no air. Ugh I miss my old trucks seat.

 

Suspenders?

Suspenders; a Marines dream. Those guys modify them so that one end clips to their shirt tail and the other end to their socks. That way their shirt stays tucked in and their socks don't slide down.

 

I don't know but I've been told...you y pants hangin down can sure get old!

 

For all you data hungry guys like I am. I found this pretty sweet 3rd party service online and it seems to be getting good reviews. It runs through att towers and provides you with truly unlimited hotspot at 4g speeds around the country. NO DATA CAPS OR THROTTLING. Supposedly people are downloading up to a terabyte a month and not having issues. You just have to purchase a specific mobile hotspot device out of the ones they list on their website from Amazon and a Sim card that's compatible with att. The best part? It's only 60 month after an extra 30 for the first month for activation! I ordered a hotspot and all and put a highlight for Joplin next week to get get it from my mail at local... Will update on the quality if anyone is interested in it. I only paid 50 for my hotspot device and 7 for the Sim card.

Wow! Just ate at a Brazilian steak house. 1st time there. Walked in at 20:00. Not a soul in the place. Waitress looked like Katherine Zeta Jones! If the food was garbage it was still a pleasant view.

Food was great, scenery was great. Rooster hits a home run!
