In the old days, truckstops would take care of these problems and not let them park like that. I can remember seeing a couple that had large signs at the entrance listing the companies that were not even allowed on the lot.

I was at the pilot in otay mesa couple days ago. Waiting for fuel line to clear up . it was 4 deep and i was all the way in the back with 3 trucks to my right and 2 to my left. The guy on my right got tired of waiting and pulled a mop and bucket out of his sleeper side box . filled the bucket uo with water at the fuel island and started mopping his peterbilt right there while we were waiting. I was laughing so hard man. It was nice to see driver take pride in his ride tho. Some guys go down the road with white trucks and black running boards by there steps with streaks down it where they threw their piss bottle out.gross

I'm going to put myself in the hall of shame, I suppose....
I was in Florida a few days ago. I stopped at a loves for a splash and go and to replace a gladhand where the neck detaches on an RGN. The pump reach 50gal and I hit the switch on the driver's side to shut it off. It was raining, so I said "screw it", only one bolt on the gladhand so I changed it under the awning. Guess who forgot the nozzle on the other side....? **hangs head in shame** I went inside and told them what I'd done and offered to pay for it. Very embarrassed over the whole mess but they were cool and even laughed about it. The little thespian that works there even went out of her way to make me feel better about it.

They are quick release hoses; all you have to do is plug it back in.

No, I saw one lying at the pump next to me so I made an instructional video on how to reconnect the quick release.
