Hello,
I have six months fuel hauling experience out of Midland TX out to NM border.
Want to get back out there, but keep reading so many nightmare reviews, and I have been through driving the illegal trucks for a company that could care less about safety last time.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
I am at the point of going to a CDL training program, looking at Maverick (2 year commitment is holding me back) Jim Palmer (low cents per mile).
The issue I am running into is that everyone wants a year, and I know that I can earn better income and have better choices with my CDL A plus more experience.
Thanks for your advice

Western Dairy Transport might be a good choice.

You're on the payroll from day one in their cdl school.
I think you're paid $10.00 an hour while in class plus meals and lodging.
Don't know how much the pay is after graduation.
Most milk haulers make pretty good money.

Don't just look a cents per mile. There's other pays on top of that that jack the pay up.
