Now that's what I'm talking about. I mean, someone will try to one-up that. But after dealing with a couple of sorry paychecks of $600-$700/week, I'm getting a bit flustered. Just recently renewed my TSA stuff on my HAZMAT again and feel that making $16 flat for babysitting a skim milk unload for eight hours is beyond humiliating.
All in all, I think I've pretty much hit the pay ceiling as far as dealing with the local milk hauling goes. An alright, eight years, but the country life is eating me away.

If you don't get OT at Kenan just wait for the class action suit.
K.A.G. West got hit about six years back.
The argument was that unless you are legally relieved of responsibility of the truck than you are on duty and with less than 1% of their trucks going over state lines CA OT laws applied.
OTR may be different.Cat sdp Thanks this. -
I somehow knew the overtime thing was going to pop up. Hourly pay itself sounds lovely to me. If we were paid right on the dairy side of things, the stress of loading and dealing with these royal dairy men would be well worth it.

Call on Demand or Peak Drivers for Kenan is where it’s at, the turnover rate is low, A lot of ppl badmouthing them because they seen their check stubs, 10k months company driver NH3, and if turnover is so high why are they not currently hiring?
