it's a company truck though, right?

i believe you may be taking something personally that isn't personal

if you were in the lot owner's shoes, would you really let the trucking company use your property for free?

There’s a couple of things I can see as “personal “
here......as the driver is the face of the company to the customer, who expects their delivery to be on time, it is a personal problem when for whatever reason the driver can’t make it happen. It’s also personal when the paycheck is suffering because of this problem. Hope it gets resolved......

Before this, I worked for Veriha in Marinette. I tried out Yard Jockey; the hometime was awesome but the winter was brutal, especially on the lakeshore.

I talked to a recruiter at PTI before moving south. I came to Mobile because I already have relatives here which made the move easier.

Well, I guess I'm saying why let a problem drag on this long? He could have said many, many months ago that he isn't being compensated enough by my company. It's a little awkward to in that I never see this guy in person. He doesn't have an office there, he just drops off smashed cars there for storage. He could have left a note on my truck or even my car. He has done that before when he wanted me to leave my car parked in a different location.

Towing Companies are notorious for holding vehicles for extreme fees. They score huge payola for this kind of extortion. Good Luck getting the situation resolved. Are you looking for another company to work for? I think I would be in this situation.......

Creditors, will not normally do that, if you quit parking there, he would have no truck to hold for payment. This is normal practice, not just for parking. I have seen it over fuel bills too.

Someone at the company finally fessed up that they failed to pay this guy for 5 months. This should also turn into several days of 'breakdown' pay for me.

And yes I have an old beater Pontiac lol. It's paid for so no payments and the All Wheel Drive was decent for up north.

In that case, I would assert that the animus would be best directed to where it will be most effective, which is in the direction of the trucking company.
