detroit blow by

    Truck is now starting to get alot of blow by and also oil in blow by tube, would this mean that engine needs to be rebuilt?

    engine 14l detroit 2007

    do you guys know of any good shops in NJ, PA ,TX

    Also how much did you guys spent and what all did you have done on your rebuilt?

    any help will be greatly appreciated.

    not a lot but I do have to put in oil before the next oil change

    I do add oil before every oil change.

    attachdd is the oil analysis from a month or so ago also.

    If it is not using hardly any oil I would not be very worried about some blow by. Have seen some run for years like that.
    Others have a lot more analysis experience than I.

    Lead is high, but not shut it down this second. I would pull another sample after putting 7500 miles on oil.

    My opinion, change the air filters now, and run the wheels off it till the oil consumption gets excessive.
