WTA hosts trucker appreciation breakfast

    The Washington truckers association are hosting a complimentary breakfast for us truck drivers this week. I woke up this morning to this and got some eggs potatoes and sausage for breakfast it was pretty good. This morning it was hosted at the rest area just south of the pilot at exit 99. I think things like this don't happen very often so I feel when they do it is extra special. So I want to say thank you to the WTA for the delicious breakfast this morning and doing something extra nice for us truckers.

    Every little bit helps.

    We're having driver appreciation today. They're giving out goodie bags to the drivers and there's a Subway lunch waiting for us if you're lucky enough to be at the branch.

    The old giant truckstop in New Mexico, used to put on a big feed for driver appreciation day. I stopped in there for one and got to watch a covenent wipe out a nice pete cabover. lol

    Shucks... Miss out on the feeds. Some of these have some really good eating I tell you what. Got roast chicken heating in crock for later today, might as well be happy with it.

    A roast chicken definitely sounds better than what I'm going to have later for dinner LOL. I get to look forward to a microwavable pasta dish or tortinos pizza.

    Im sorry to learn of the Pizza on the menu. 9-11 annually has not been a good time. We tend to eat hearty, sleep all the time and then be ready for anything that sunrise. Little bit of damage left over from the attacks that day.

    Actually my comment was a joke, but Subway is at almost every truck stop and many of us would almost rather skip a meal than eat one more sub.
