I have a 2006 International 9900 with a Cummins isx I just had a head gasket job done 2 weeks ago because I had coolant getting in the oil. The head checked out find and the egr cooler check out good. Today my low oil pressure light and yellow check engine light came on. Oil pressure was 20 going down the way and drop to 18 when I let off pedal. Fresh oil change and new head gasket. Truck is not running hot
Low oil pressure

Did you by the way have the oil analysis done?
You may have bottom end issues. -
Could be poor quality oil.
Maybe time for oil pump and new bearings.
If sensors don't fix.
Engines don't like water in oil. -
Thanks guys, I think I will try oil sensor and oil filter first

Get an oil sample.
Another thing would be blowby test.
Different motor but I drove a cat with broken piston rings. Needed an oil change every 2 weeks. The blowby was diluting the oil and ruining it. Causing low pressure to the point the lights would come on.77fib77 Thanks this. -
Did you drive it while the light was on?
