Is the proper connecting rod needed to use the 160-1130 14.5/1 aluminum piston a different size wrist pin than my current rod? Right now I’m running the 101-0016 16.4 pistons. Would I need a E model rod or a different one than that even?

The 160-1131 piston uses the small pin with wide bearing rod. The E uses the big pin
5YG00466 is a good engine serial number that used that piston factory. Should be able to use it to get a good number.
Now 9Y6408 will be cast on side of all wide bearing rods. Both big and little pin. I have been through thisLast edited: Sep 10, 2019

Excellent info, and this piston is compatible with or8785’s and my stock piston oilers?

No go to the double oiler and put the E model spring in your pump. Use the serial number I gave you for Oilers. As well as 3425 nozzles with a 177148 windmill it will suit you I assure you
