I see what you mean, do they offer good home time at least ? I’ve applied for flat bed companies and Sysco unfortunately my experience is not there yet, TMC didn’t even call back. Dollar accounts other companies including Schneider is something I won’t mess with tight backing areas and lift gates that suck from those dollar stores.

  3. was this supposedly the new Tyson when they relined everything got it got KLM pulling their stuff around and much more like within the last seven or eight years??
I remember when Tyson was strictly mostly all team operation they had the brown red and yellow trucks they wore the nice uniforms representing Tyson must have been a lot of changes and Chickendale few years back..
now they're Plain Jane white trucks they have solo drivers dedicated accounts and all kinds of other stuff..
used to be all the grunt work and deliveries and East Coast stuff was done by other companies that pulled their stuff out of their plants
working for Tyson back in the day that was almost all team operation if I remember right unless you were a daycab hauling dead chickens back and forth..
but I remember all the rules to be a Tyson transportation driver they were very strict on who they hired..but they treated you well paid you well but I expected you to act like a professional at all times.. I've been cut off by more of Tysons clowns more than once sometimes I wonder if it's not just KLM or FFE since they both are part of the same company got thier people driving Tyson trucks around..
what do you see now in the behavior of whatever these Tyson drivers are nowadays you see now of was unheard of prior to 2011 or 2010 with CSA.. must have been alot of changes that I never really kept up on.

    To quote many...

keebler13579 speaks the truth. Most loads from tville are on the heavy side. The scales also are meant for live haul. They are known to be off as well. Last year, due to "injuries," they banned drivers to put load bars unless the trailer is backed into a door and is "floor level."

stayinback makes great points. They should add an hourly pay. Tyson right now does charge grocery houses detention but doesn't compensate drivers for it. They keep the detention pay 100%. Drivers have been screaming for some kind of detention pay.

Trucker Kev Paid Tourist ... The only dedicated is the Northeast (PA fleet) tbh. Everything else is OTR fleet now. Although still solo drivers. There are a few teams left though. Most of the new safety regulations are the cause a few of us having to have to cut folks off. Following distance that's googled by a non-CDL holder, stamped by highers that never drove a rig has caused many to hog the road. They have invested too heavily into the Bendix and monitoring systems. There is an exodus from Tyson right now because of it.

    I like Tyson it's a really good.

  6. that's what I mean by their so-called OTR fleet now with KLM pulling their trailers around and more like Walmart equipment.
I was talking about when Tyson was strictly only team for lying Hall and they only ran Tyson plant to Tyson plant.
just like forward Air before prior to 2007 or 8 when they started their lease purchase in their truck load division that was another company that was strictly team had to be a professional safe driving record no clowns allowed
and they were eightfreight forwarder only terminal to terminal they didn't pick up they didn't deliver they didn't do nothing..
that's how Tyson used to be I just wanted one everything went South was it when CSA came about around 2010 they got rid of a lot of there original Tyson colored equipment with the Tyson logo on it the orange circle and now it looks like KLM equipment with just one word that says Tyson??
