I’m guessing the entire load will be unloaded by hand. I know many dealerships have very little room for a big truck. The job may be easy in itself, but the parking/unloading may be a logistical nightmare at some places

The issue with labor-based late in career is that any injury can stop the game. I'd be more tempted to look into that after retirement from the cryo work. Then it's just messin'.

Went and had a chat w the operations director.
Has no clue on hos, maintenance or licensing.
They run 3 straight trucks and this is the first semi truck they have run.
Talked a bit about job responsibilities and expectations. Could not even tell me how many trips per year or stops per trip. I'm assuming they are kind of a "seat of the pants" operation.
Full benefits and 401k w match.
Asked about compensation and it was all hourly.
    Motel every night..no sleeper nights.
Told him I would need a minimum of 2000 per week w the opportunity to make more and he didn't flinch.
Told him to call if he wanted to make me an outrageous offer to drive a pos prostar..lol 20190912_160058.jpg

You have managed to replace a migraine in my head with something else I need to remove from the tummy.

IF he did not flinch on 2000 dollars a week, you were asking too little. You need to sort of using a bad concept to nuzzle up to and blush a hardened traffic boss at about 3200 a week for that kind of work he is about to put you on.

    Dennixx Thanks this.
