I’m looking at a couple Great Dane TL. One with a carrier and the other is a c-600. As much as I hate to I’ll probably get the carrier 7500. I can’t see the thermo king being worth 13k more with the same hours.

    Rocks Thanks this.

No, not on a used one.

Edit to add: The feature to look for, if you're looking at '15 or newer, is thermoguard liner. I think Utility came out with it first, might see it in some of their '14 models. Instead of the old plastic kemlite, thermoguard is a thin metal with layers of vinyl or the like on it. Waaaay more durable against pallet scrapes/gouges.

The carrier is 16. The TK is 17 from same fleet. They have the same lining as the 2010 utility I have now. I think utility calls it puncture guard.

I'll take your word for it. My knowledge comes from my Great Dane salesman. Interestingly, one of those run-ins that reminds you what a small world it is.

The Atlanta GD dealer only moved down to Forest Park 2 yrs ago. Before then, they were just west of Stewart Ave on Capitol Ave. Steve started working in their shop in the mid-late '80's. About that same time, I worked for a used car dealer off Stewart Ave just south of Cleveland Ave. I wouldn't be surprised if I seen him out & about and just didn't know, when taking used cars up the road to Caine Tire and whatnot, coming thru fast making the hookers jump back on the sidewalk LOL.

D0A756CC-1D2C-443A-BB83-1EA3B6E449B4.jpeg This is the lining in my 2010. Seems to be a layered deal. Couple of gouges like this, but it’s only the top layer.
