Wait til you get your tire bill plus all the other damage.Running them walking floors you’ll be lucky to average 5.5 mpg.

My brother had a tire shop up here I’ll make sure I have some $$ aside for that. My 2004 Mack CX is running 5.5 now. These 50k pound containers are bad enough.

Tell me about it. I’m pulling 48k Goyas beans up and down the turnpike daily.

The plan sure would be to stick with my own ins. No $2k down and it will decrease to their $275 in some time (hopefully).

Now onto the net... truck maintenance fund, truck payment, taxes. I know the diesel cost is just the tip of the iceberg. When I spoke with them it appears like $1k a day is doable. I would take their trailer to start to test the waters. If all is clear after a few months I'd get my own tipper.

I was thinking of getting the MC anyway since I'll have to get the DOT just to have it all done and set up. It wouldn't hurt me, I suppose.
