A Wisconsin truck stop’s Facebook post about how they dealt with a truck driver’s self-centered parking job has gone viral.

On Thursday, September 12, Hixton, Wisconsin-based truck stop Hixton Travel Plaza shared a Facebook post about their solution to a parking problem.

    They wrote:

You want to park like a @$!%# and block two pumps while you take your break, then refuse to move? We’ll make sure you sure you sit a bit longer (he was ready to leave after we did this by the way).

Please treat your fellow drivers with respect while on our premises, that’s all we ask.

The post received more than 1000 reactions and 400 shares in just three hours.

While a few Facebook commenters pointed out that the truck stop could’ve just called for a tow truck, most were delighted with the solution.

That’s why you leave the 5th wheel all the way back.
That way you can turn the steering wheel all the way to one side, slide the fifth wheel forward, spin the steering wheel fully the other way and drive off into the sunset while playing Dixie on the air horn.

Fed Ex did have doubles, I guess he could have broke it down and baked it in to a couple of spots.

Nothing makes this post so refreshing than to see a fed ex idiot the justice he #### well deserves. Im sure he has held up more than a couple fuel islands in his career as well

I wonder how many fuel pumps are blocked at any given time across the country by Fedwrex taking their 30? The FMCSA should give them an exemption so they can just keep rolling instead of blocking everything up.

An old friend of mine used to drive for a Ground contractor and would always take her 30 at the same place and park at the pump. When I suggested a place about 20 miles up the road with pull through spots she said she didn’t like that place and would rather block a pump to stop at her spot. So if people like that have to start paying to leave I don’t have a problem.

Drop pintle hook on second trailer back up 3 feet over it if you can do it. That should be enough space to start working your wheel back and forth to get out. When you have the front end free or almost so lean on one corner of that jersey barrier, estimate wieght about 3 ton, add horsies in granny low.

THUMP. back up attach your second pup and roll out.

A very long time ago I had a compound pulley with 10 one foot wheels on it. Hook chain to that, hook other end to a very powerful anchor and start winding. You can move 15 ton deadweight sliding a little on the ground if done gently. Just not very far at a time.

I don't think truckstop would take kindly to such a effort to corner out one of those.
