It is chrome, picture just doesn't show it well.
The 388/89s have the motor and trans so far forwards they have to run an angled stick. KWs usually have shorter hoods and have straighter shifters.
I spun extra extensions on the shifter and sent it to the customer as a joke. What will really be funny is when he loves it and wants if left on there. It does actually go through all the gears. Top gear would hit the passenger in the head though. Probably only running a 12'' extension, pic has 2 18s.

I just notice today that the thread I created back in 2011 is closed. I would've never thought it would turn into 2,000 plus pages. If I got a dollar for every page in that thread, I would have enough money to buy an OLED TV.

Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Anyway, let's try to not let this thread turn into the other one. Keep politics and current issues out.

It was essentially hijacked by chauvinistic non-driver who has been, as I understand, banned from TTR. The rest of us behaved except when he got our goat. I think there is mutual respect for drivers across the pond and south of the equator, although had I known that his shenanigans would shut down your thread and cause every one to migrate here, I would have chosen a better name for this thread

Around '08 till '10 alot off secondhand trucks were shipped to Russia in big numbers.
USA trucking was down and used trucks were cheap.
Add to that that Russia is one offf the few with longer lenght laws.
