I would like to have a radio that when I was talking to the truck behind me it would be clear and not to loud, just the right sound without blasting him out of the cab. At the same time though, the next driver that might be 10 miles out, maybe more I would sound the same to him. I know they are out there cause I have heard them before. That is a good cab radio. Thanks
What kind of radio??

A stock Cobra 29 should do exactly what you're talking about.
Blowcanner1975 Thanks this. -
I have an old Cobra 25 that does fairly well but I was wondering if it were to be possible to have about 150 watt booster and be able to do what I mentioned.

CB Radio ANYTONE AT-6666 28.000 - 29.699Mhz 40CH AT6666 AM/FM/SSB 10 Meter Radio | eBay
Yes the Anytone AT6666. The auction I linked appears to include the programming cable. That would be a plus.
If I was going to use the Cobra, I'd pair it with an RM Italy KL-203 and turn the dead key way down on the Cobra.Last edited: Sep 16, 2019

Likely? That depends on who sets it up for you. Amps aren't generally plug and play.BRS1955 Thanks this. -
Yep.
Forget the amp.
Get the KNOB!

ROFL.....now that’s funny, I don’t care what Larry the cable guy says. -
Just about any radio will do that...What you need to be thinking more about is the antenna and where you're going to mount it....
Blowcanner1975, slim6596 and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
