I believe they haul 14,000 gallons of diesel up to Prudhoe bay with it.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you have to like it. ;)

My first truck didn't come with a nightheater.
I slept in it when it was freezing.:mad::rolleyes:
Does that mean i would want to do it again??
    NO!!!!

spsauerland, KVB and pushbroom Thank this.

No, I used to have an international license, but not any more. I usualy don't drive on public roads anyway.
Most of the time I sit in the passenger seat and local driver does the driving, I'm monitoring my laptop and making adjustments.
Not advised to do that while driving.......

    I have 2 passports.

One business passport (more pages for the visa and stamps than a normal tourist passport)

2nd passport for the occasions that my first passport is at an embassy to get a Visa and I have to travel abroad at the same time. And for travelling to certain countries.
It's been a few years now, but when I had to travel to (for example) Iran, I made sure that I used the 2nd passport. Travelling to the US with Iran Visa and stamps in the passport makes things more complicated. Best to keep this separate.

Also not recommended to show the 2 passports when entering a country like Canada or US.
Or using one passport on one trip, the other passport on the next trip to same country. I had a problem like that when entering Canada.

Immigration officer: "Were you in Canada before?"
    Me: "Yes"
    Immigration officer: "When was that?"
    Me: "2 months ago"
Immigration officer: "I don't see the stamps in your passport, and you passport is 7 months old"
Me: "I used a different passport on that trip"
And I showed the other passport and the stamps.....next thing I was escorted to an interrogation room. Left the airport 4 hours later after lots of explaining.

Most of the travelling in Western Europe can be done without going through immigration or border controls, or getting stamps in the passport (thank god.... I cross the border (BE/NL) 9 times driving from home to work, on the way back home I take a different route to avoid traffic, and I cross the border 13 times, I know, it's hard to believe, but true)
It is only when travelling outside of western europe that I get the stamps and (depending on the country) need Visa

I used to travel more frequently, and older passports did not have that many pages, additional pages could be stapled in the passport by the authorities.

Most North American I saw were the typical fleet trucks: Volvo's, International 9200/9400 and cabovers (old JB Hunt I guess) Freightliner Columbia/Century and few Cascadia's and FLD's.

I have dual, but it is not smartest idea to use second one. I was close to loseing my driving licence due my medical condition, i had a plan to bring my driving licence there and change it. But than you have to use car from other country and cross border with their papers, which bring you problems because when they found you are living here. Once they catch you using others country car here you are in custom problems which by law leads that you need to import here this car and pay all tax and dutty plus fine.
