Two weeks ago ac climate controls were on full blast constant. Not even shutdown at end of day. Started up one mornin and almost immediately smelled electronics burning up. Now no fan speed selector control or clutch engagement.
Im thinking resistor card of some sort. Im going in, any ideas or...suggs?

I would check the fuses, relays and wiring first to make sure you have power to the switch and compressor.
Then I would check the blower resistor and fan speed selector switch.Stevenmark Thanks this. -
What are we working on?
Most melted connections at switch's , resistor's which are melting can be traced back to a blower motor that is worn out and drawing excess current. The excessive current generates heat at the weakest connections in the circuit. Dont forget to replace HVAC filters as restriction in air flow on the inlet side of the blower will also cause increased amperage.Numb, Stevenmark, Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this. -
I agree with the resistor or resistor slot card plug in being (refraggitated) lol
