Part of the blame for that lies squarely at the feet of the TM. The guy should’ve been pulled off that run a long time ago, because frankly he sucked at it.

Google Maps challenge. Look up Three Forks Montana. Scroll north of the town just past I-90 along highway 287. Just past Wheat Montana you will see a dirt plot and that is my old barn.

They are 50 miles east of Butte, 25 miles west of Belgrade, 30 miles west of Belgrade, and 50 miles south of Helena. We also covered all the town's in between.

Duie Pyle is now working with Oak Harbor, they'll need something to fill in a rather large gap.

Wonder what it will be. Will they run contractor linehaul between PA and ID? Will they need a yard in Montana? Some expansion toward AZ? Would an LTL company based in the Midwest be useful?

LTL between the left and right coast is sleeper teams. ODFL is the main one i can think of. But most LTL will use companies like CRST to run their freight across the states outside their network.

Duie Pyle and oak harbor has always been Dayton freights partner carrier. So Dayton freight in the Midwest. Duie Pyle in the north east. Oak harbor in the west.

So if something is picked up in Ohio by Dayton freight but goes to NY. Dayton picks it up and transfers it to duie who delivers it for us. Same with something going to WY and oak harbor.

Now what I don’t know(and I’ll try and ask tomorrow if I remember) is if something is picked up in NY by duie but delivers to WY by oak harbor. Is if it goes thru Dayton to get to oak harbor. Kinda like relaying it over for them. Or like you said. Is someone running it from duie straight to oak harbor.

Question from a LTL wannabe. Does that mean pallet jacks and hand trucks?
