That would be a good thread to start because so many of us work so many different weird schedules and find different ways to deal with it.
So what is your LTL company paying?

Posting of checks is not necessary if you know how the company pays. Bid runs are easy to figure out. Wild or extra board drivers will always fluctuate. There's nothing to hide behind and liars are easily spotted if one knows what said company pays...this isn't rocket science.Last edited: Sep 18, 2019

1) I don't want to be seen as bragging in any way.
2) I don't want to hear someone else bragging about how they made more money in 6 or 7 months than I did in over 8.
I also don't want to feel like I have to make it look better by talking about all of the intangibles that I think make my job awesome. Money is tricky stuff to discuss, especially among men. It can often devolve into the type of contentious conversation I don't want to participate in.
By the way, I like how you color-coded those messages according to what company the guy works for. Well played, sir!Nathanos, Northeasterner, MACK E-6 and 6 others Thank this. -
This is what I was talking about in my last message. This stuff easily becomes a pissing contest. It's silly.FlaSwampRat, Skorge, dwells40 and 5 others Thank this. -

You said "you wish you made that kind of money" to the guy. Essentially saying, "you're a liar, prove it." That's the kind of childish stuff I'm talking about when I say men get silly over discussing money.
You also said, "when asked to see a stub they cry like little girls." This is what I was referring to when I said, "it can often devolve into the type of contentious conversation I don't want to participate in." Nobody cried like a little girl. The only one getting a little too sensitive here seems to be you.
Sorry for the college-length essay.Nathanos, brian991219, Skorge and 6 others Thank this. -
