    Keep an eye on I 29 and I 680 .
We had a ton of rain this morning and the already high Missouri river is flooding again.
Several levees have failed on the Iowa side .
29 and 680 from crescent iowa to the Missouri river had water up against the shoulders at daylight when I went thru this morning and probably wont be open much longer ....also the exit ramp from 29 south to 680 west was already closed .

tscottme, G13Tomcat, Vic Firth and 6 others Thank this.

I'm no hydrologist or engineer but it sounds like 29 south of council bluffs may be on the closure list too.

I noticed yesterday the rock river in Illinois is way up again .
Ironically the Platte on 80 at south bend just south of gretna was up but not out of its banks at mid morning.
What's occurring on the MO is coming from the flooding in south Dakota last week and the tributaries out of Minnesota...29 on the Iowa side west of the bluffs is all low ground .
