Only thing i found was that they are trying to, or did, allow a TWIC to access military bases.

Active duty cards do. Retired cards don't.

only by what i read here, unless you have a secret clearance, then no..??
The legislation also notes that TWIC-carrying workers who also have a current DOD secret level clearance “shall be considered exempt from further vetting when seeking unescorted access at DOD facilities.”

I applied for mine the other day and I asked. They said it depends on the guard. Oh well I jave one coming anyway.

So you can get on base with a twic card.
But no answer if you can into a twic facility with a military id.Intothesunset Thanks this.
