Sure, probably lumber at about a buck or less a mile. Try to enjoy the landscape while you're taking it in the keester and it will hurt less.
rabbiporkchop, Cat sdp, Intothesunset and 3 others Thank this. -
well, anyone know if Montana is still old fashioned?
The boys out there still run together with who they know? -
Intothesunset and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Most of the lumber and particle board goes to brokers for the regular truckload stuff. The maxi (over 60k payload) stuff is mill direct for the carriers on the load list.
There is landscaping rock that moves out of Western MT but I’ve never hauled any so I’m not sure what it’s like.
Sometimes there is hay moving that can get you out of there and into a better spot but when and how much depends on the year.Last edited: Sep 21, 2019

Might be able to get a load of pallets to get you a few hundred miles to a better spot.

Log house packages used to pay fair at times.
Trees during season paid fair.
I have hauled palletized flagstone out of Libby that paid pretty good, depending on where and sometimes it is just a partial.
I have hauled used farm equipment out of billings that paid well, but I think that was a one time deal.Intothesunset Thanks this. -
