Anyone else having issues with radio feedback while using the 3.5mm aux jack? Anybody know of any remedies for this issue?

Do you mean feedback or ground noise? If it's the latter, get a 3.5mm ground loop isolator.

I bought a SONY powered speaker for when I get a cab with bad audio. In the past I have noticed that not all 3.5 cords are equal, can't hurt to try another one.

But sometimes the jack or the back-end wiring are screwed somehow, which is when I get the speaker out.

If you have a dedicated cab, try pulling it out of the dash on your 30 mins and pulling the back plug out and replugging it, usually need those U-pins to release it, or shop might help. I see ODFL in your avatar, know from experience that they do not appreciate drivers working on trucks.

If you can pull it, having some DeOxit to spray on the contacts and into the jack is a possible help as well. A little goes a long way and then plug/unplug a few times to work the spray into the contacts.

Funny you mention this as i'm having somewhat related/unrelated issues with a 3.5 at home.

Can't you use USB in the truck?

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

We have Bluetooth truck radios. I have an aux cord in case of emergency only (old spare, etc). I like being able to skip a song playing on my phone by hitting a button on the steering wheel.
