Yeah maybe I should have been more clear with what I was saying! I meant the family more so should step in but that may have not been the case at all.

Other side of the "too old to drive" coin is - my Father.
Retired in 1971 and spent 30 plus years going back and forth Pa. to Fla. as a Snow-Bird.
Racked up around 100,000 miles, and most times drove straight thru, but for gas and food breaks.
Last trip down I got a call from his neighbor that he was sick - I'd better get down there.
12 days later he passed. Don't make 'em like that anymore.
Rest easy, Father of mine.allniter, stillwurkin, Bud A. and 2 others Thank this. -

When she was 79, my mom went to the doctor for the first time in about 15 years because she had some pain. They asked her what medications she was on, and she said none. She said the nurse had a look of panic on her face when she heard that.Buckmaster1981, stillwurkin and buddyd157 Thank this. -

When your in pain. And the pain is too great to sleep at night. Then tell me you dont have any meds. For some (may not apply to the reasons of this article) the need for meds is just to be able to live. It isnt a matter of how staunch the physique is.
buddyd157 Thanks this.
