I have to say that I figure you guys work hard, but not this much..wow.
I am currently on 5 days a week, 14 max everyday and tired everyday as well. I have change my diet and lost 20 lbs and I make around 1500-1700 weekly.. LTL is great but the work is back breaking. Food deliveries in difficult locations.. I start at 4am and back at terminal by 5:30-5:45.. So this is the LTL life, I’m hoping to hang for 10 years..

I line haul currently and make the same exact money I would running deliveries. Sometimes I will jump on a forklift and help finish a trailer and building sets is the only non driving work I do.

Hat’s off to the food service guys, I couldn’t break my back like that. Those guys are the Marines Corps of LTL city driving.

I've been doing better this week. I only had 10 stops today, but I started at 4:00am today and was back by 12:30pm. However it doesn't always work out like that LOL!

One nice thing about the food service side is when you’re done, you’re actually done.

There’s no “oh, we have these 10 pickups we need you to do since the driver whose area that is and starts 2 hours after you doesn’t feel like doing anything after his 8 deliveries”.
