Are there any home daily driving jobs that allow more than a 10 hour break? I've been running recaps with more than a 10 hour break for a few months now OTR. I'm interested in a home daily job as long as I can have more than a 10 hour break.

It would depend on where you're located and what is in the local paper or other local job sites. I would think you need to start there.
Beverage distributors, garbage truck, dump truck etc. might be what you need for that. If you're near a metro area probably the LTL companies I would think.

And your commute will eat into it. Some of the local work Ive done involved a hour each way commuting to the truck. Those do not last too long.

That truck is to be used. Not to be sitting around half a workday waiting for your beauty sleep that is 10 hours.

Doesn't sound too likely. A lot of the OTR outfits only want 10 hour break for productivity reasons, local seems the same way.

Depends on what you are willing to do and how much you want to make. Our shop runs 8-9.5 hours a day on average. B and A. 24 a hour with overtime.

Now if you want no touch or little touch dock bumping.... good luck with finding a less than 11 hour day.....

There are plenty of runs out there with more than just your 10 off if you wanna hustle. P&d, food, and beverage have them if you don't mind staying moving.

Most of your local jobs will more then 10 hours.

Local work requires a log after 12 hours.

My commute is only 15 minutes.
