I HAVE REPLACED MY STARTER 3 TIMES IN LAST 4 YEARS AND 2 OF THE REPLACEMENTS WERE DOBE IN LAST 4 MONTHS.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. -
Sounds like what ever you are doing is shorting out the circuit.
-
Short somewhere. Either in positive wire to batteries or in one of the batteries themselves. Could be the starter, but sounds like you’ve been through so many, somethings shorting out, and burning up starters.Could be the positive wire from starter to the alternater, any positive wire, that’s broken or touching ground, maybe rubbing the frame somewhere.
-
Bring it to the dealer and have them check the ground and starter.
-
Are you jump starting at the batteries and the jumper cable gets hot? Are you jump starting at the batteries and the starter cable gets hot? Are you jump starting at the starter and the jumper cable gets hot?
Please clarify. -
