I remember last May I was in orientation with a guy who’d been with Walmart for 18 years and left them because of how they were treating senior drivers eventually he ended up going back to them after they tried righting all the wrong I’m wondering if that was all smoke and mirrors and they’re reverting back to their old ways

Nope thats what they pay. My friends son inlaw made 87K his first full yr at Wally in Grandview Wa. He quit after 2 yrs & opened up a RV park & used the money he made at Wally to buy the land.

They changed their ways long enough to restock their drivers pool...when they get enough, it is so long senior drivers most likely:(

Why would they be getting rid of senior drivers? And more to the point, how? You can't just pick and choose who you lay off. It would have to go in order of seniority, would it not? There has to be some kind of ####### law about that.

Probably not. We are used to a union shop where seniority matters but I would imagine that everything else is just a free for all.

But...I mean...why put any time in with a company if they're just going to keep the junior guys...####, man. This world is screwed.

They aren't getting rid of drivers. They got rid of some coordinators. And yes they can pick and choose who they get rid of.

No seniority at walmart. Years there yes. They get treated the same as a newby.
