This was the yearly PM and it includes the steam clean. Looks like a brand new one, straight out of the box. They clean the condenser coils too.

Got my new drives on today, the XDN2s. I could already tell a big difference. When I’m bobtail on an incline I would slip just a hair if I had to accelerate quickly. These just grab and go. Can’t wait to see how they do once I’m rolling again. I’m taking the spent tires to Goodyear and I’m going to have them recapped as trailer tires with their UniCircle retread, 235 all in per tire.

I was bringing a friend of mine some oil in town tonight and a drink driver ran a red light and hit me head on in my pickup. It’s toast. Hit him doing 40 mph. Sometimes I ask myself, why me?

I’m fine. He did get taken away in cuffs. Couldn’t pass the field sobriety test. Busted my radiator, air bags deployed, had to kick my door open to get out, driver side fender and side panel are hanging off. Have to see how all that goes. I’m sure it could be repaired. My worry is, is there damage to the motor itself and is the frame bent.

    #### that sucks. And even if they do fix it the damage is done and the truck will not be worth what it is when time to sell. All damage will be reported on vin.

Dang, that is a bad deal.

The bright side is, you are still here to tell the story. It certainly could have been worse.

Oh man! Sorry to hear. I agree - it's better to dump the pickup and walk away with the insurance money. I had a Toyota that couldn't be aligned because of a much smaller hit than that.

Lawyering up is only worth it if the other guy is rich.
