I use an internet fax service and an aircard with my cell phone provider. Scan, upload, fax....received faxes notify me via email (I get email notifications on my phone).

 

I was wondering the same being new myself but I recently saw that Internettruckstop has a new feature called file check, I guess you fax in you papers to the website and they are stored for you electronically so that the load u pick, the broker will have access to the documents online when u provide your password for the documents.

 

Are you serious? I'm calling them tomorrow! How much does it cost?

 

That really doesn't save you anything. You still have to fax the contract and rate agreement back to the broker which is different for each job. You also have to fill out a W9 for each broker. The only document that doesn't change is your Authority and that's just one sheet compared to the 20-30 pages. The broker is going to say, WTF, just send your Authority with all the other papers. He's not going to want to log on to another site just for that.
