been doing a lot of reading on here and it’s time to make my first post .
Like the title says been a company driver (TLS) for about four years now. Looking into going out on my own . Would be purchasing a quick loader 9 car as that’s what I’m comfortable with. Looking to be based of PHX but am willing to run the west coast and out to Texas . Preferably out 1-2 weeks take 5-7 days off if possible.
Looking for any and all information and tips for getting started and if it’s worth leaving current job (130-150k yearly)
I know save save save as much as possible . Looking to start up in about 9 months as I have a few things to hit time wise with current company
Thank you in advance I know it’s a broad question.

I can't speak from experience so take it very lightly but Im not so sure you will net anywhere near that after expenses and taxes running your own mc number.

Ya it sounds good but they just closed our Phx yard a few months back and moved us to socal. I don’t like it here and the family is back in Phx . Figure I could possibly make more as an owner and make my own schedule and ditch the high rent I’m paying out here in CA on top of my az mortgage
