Why haven’t you left already? That sounds like a great opportunity.

Pilot in Tonkawa, OK. Deliver in Waverly tomorrow. I am officially dedicated to that company now. 1440 miles for them this week. Just kidding about dedicated. Just feels that way.

Pretty big storm rolling across the northern plains...gotta try to get in and out as quick as I can...we'll see how it goes. LOL, The first winter storm I ever drove a truck in was Waverly, late October, 9 years ago. Storms coming early this year.

Love going through Tonkawa, I always go to the Casey's next door to the flying J so I can get their pizza. I'm obsessed with Casey's pizza. Any chance I can stop and get some I do, Casey's needs more truck friendly stores lol.

Also be careful when yoy get up there, those storms supposed to be real fun.

Also meant to ask you what time you made it through Waco last night? We were there about 1900-2000, didn't see anyone but us and a us express truck tho.

I was in and out and parked for the night in Hillsborough by about 14:00.

I know Nebraska storms are bad. I got empty in Waverly, no load going out so I raced for the Flying J in Gretna. I thought sure the wind was going to blow me into the Platte River....Zero visibility, Used the rumble strip to find my way. No GPS in those days. I knew there was another truckstop before Gretna. Got off the ramp, couldn't see the truck stop, got back on the highway and went to Gretna...wasn't going go wandering blind in a blizzard!!! Ah yes, such fond memories!

That's my perfect shift...don't always get to drive it, but I'm a happy bird when I can.
