The UAW really appreciates the bailout as we can see by their actions.
An assembly line worker has no idea how business works. Now they're demanding General Motors ramp up production as one of their demands. Well, build vehicles that people want and at a decent price, then General Motors will ramp up production to meet consumer demands.drvrtech77, bzinger, Sirscrapntruckalot and 8 others Thank this. -
Build it cheap, sell it high, and screw everybody in the process cause shareholders.drvrtech77, foggy, Chinatown and 7 others Thank this. -

GM has been sliding hard in the aesthetic department for about the last decade or so. Latest pickup design is UGLY. The new Blazer looks weird too. Ford FINALLY built a nice F150 in 2015. Ram, well their local dealer here sucks and that cost Fiat-Chrysler a sale.
x1Heavy, misterG, Intothesunset and 2 others Thank this. -
I just bought a lightly used 2015 model ford. I wanted a new ram limited but I’m not about to pay the 65K they were asking.
I couldn’t believe a bank would loan that many months on a vehicle. My grandfather always told me if you can’t pay for a vehicle in 4 years you can’t afford it. I try to stay under 3.foggy, Intothesunset, Chinatown and 2 others Thank this. -
I didn't realize until the other day that GM had ceded its long-held 2nd place sales spot for half-ton truck sales to Dodge. That's bad news when you are getting rid of many of your cars, and your volume and profit are derived from your full-size pickups and full-size SUVs.
After seeing the interior on the newly redesigned half and three quarter ton trucks, GM is still a generation behind Dodge and Ford when it comes to interiors. Why would someone want to pay $70K or $80K for something that looks like an Enterprise rental car on the inside?
The exteriors of the new pickups are hideous as well.ACO476, Intothesunset, Chinatown and 2 others Thank this. -
Either way I'm done with new vehicles. I'll be buying mid 80's to late 90's pickups from now on. I don't need or want 85% of the standard features in even the low trim level vehicles these days. Air, tilt, cruise. Screw everything else.
