PAM transport student

I worked for 4 OTR companies since 91. The longest I sat waiting for a load was 2 days. Usually after some holiday.. A couple times I sat longer in the shops but usually even then I would get a loaner & run shorthaul.
Something ain't right if your sitting that long anywhere .

1991 I started at .22cpm after less then 2 wks with a trainer. In todays money thats about .40cpm. Plus we were on paper logs & could split up are SB time on a 24hr clock.
Now you got all these new restrictions & ELD's for .35cpm? Hell, even 40cpm ain't worth it now days, let alone 35.
