Stay away from Wellert Trucking LLC!!!

I posted part of the story I'm about to tell you in a recent thread asking for a piece of advice from some of our experienced gear jammers so for any of you who answered my distress signal last please disregard the repeat. But.....

I had a incident last week at a Petro in Louisiana. I did my Post-Trip Inspection before entering into my Sleeper. The next morning I was performing my Pre-Trip and noticed a part of my trailer frame just below my DOT Tape was damaged as to say someone side swiped me maybe cutting to hard pulling out. I reported the incident to my Boss with pictures and was told I'd have to do a Post-Incident Urine, BAC, and Hair Test which is understandable. Best part of the story is, it was my 1st week running solo was told by my Boss to return to terminal to drop load for another driver, do my post incident testing and that my pay wouldn't be affected. Now its Friday and of course I wasn't paid the 2nd portion of my sign on bonus and wondering about my pay for the loads I ran along with the boss being rude, saying the damage was $3000 and he would have to talk to his partners about the situation until I could get my pay. This has been my introduction to the trucking industry. Story gets even better I woke to an email from my Boss who informed me that because of damages to the trailer (and now the truck steer tires which I informed him about prior to this.) He was terminating my employment and that the first portion of my sign on bonus of $1000 would be sufficient enough payment for my duties. Meaning I will not be paid the $500 for my 1st week of training. My 2 loads I ran equaling $750 and the $40 I spent on Scale Tickets would not be reimbursed. This comes after not receiving adequate training i.e. 1 week of training. And after I informed him that the tractor had multiple issues such as a driver door that would not lock which risked my safety, a City and Air horn that did not function, and a transmission that was slipping. I have ultimately been penalized for their lack of foresight and training. That is why I would not suggest this company to any prospective employee or business looking for a company to move their products. If you are looking for employment and do decide to work for this company please make sure you have a copy of all paperwork signed and everything spoken to you is in writing otherwise it may be null and void such as the case in my circumstances.

So here I am a new driver with a great attitude about being a Trucker and knowing that this is a lifestyle more than a career and having many family members across multiple generations that drove OTR and the like who just feels down in the dumps. Any suggestions from you guys on a good outfit to apply to that won't do me the way Ray Wellert did these past 3 weeks? I have a Class A with a Automatic Restriction(Thanks Amazon ) I have a tanker endorsement and am looking for something Regional maybe even local if push came to shove. Any help from y'all would be much appreciated. I have already applied to several companies but have no clue whether they are any good. Such as QLF, Stevens Transportation, Garner, Star Transportation, TMC, Prime, CFI, Joe Hummer, and a few others....
