Someone needs their cdl revoked!!

People do dumb stuff on the roads all of the time. However, there's absolutely no reason to use a truck (or any vehicle for that matter) as a weapon because some half witted jack wagon isn't driving to your liking. I'm not saying it isn't tempting (or arguably deserving), but at some point someone has to be the adult.

We (CDL holders) are considered professional drivers and should conduct ourselves accordingly. The driver in the video has no business in the business with that attitude and behavior. This is the kind of crap puts all of us in a bad light and it's the good hard working conscientious drivers that ultimately pay the price for these incidents.


On another note: My kid wondered if maybe the white SUV held the engineer that came up with the ELD... gotta love his humor sometimes!

 

No one really knows what led up to this action. Mayby cut off by the driver of the suv? Mayby a billy big rigger? Just because someone posts a video clip and acts all suprised and scared. That woman that posted that? big deal, things happen and tempers flare. I see 4- wheelers brake check each other, all mad at each other, also trucks a time or two. If you drive much you will see it as most everyone wants to be first, and be at their destination before they even started the journey.

 

no, she did NOT DESERVE THAT...we as professionals MUST drive properly, and just let the 4wheelers go. we are to AVOID accidents all the time..no matter what she might have done previously to this point in the video, the trucker was STILL WRONG in what he did, and he might end up getting charged with road rage, or aggressive driving. also, just by having that video, had he actually crashed with that car, the proof he was totally at fault, was captured on video.

i hope he got fired.

No.. even when they "deserve" it... you don't do that.
That's how people get killed.
There could have been a child in that car that was completely innocent of the ignorant shenanigans afoot.

You choke it down.. flip em the bird.. and do your best to create space.

 

He can and will be cited for a number of things:

Reckless endangerment
Attempted manslaughter
Attempted murder
Improper lane changes
Reckless driving
No turn signals
Reckless driving

Plus whatever they find in his truck or wrong

 

Do you realise you can be tracked down right now and arrested for saying that?
