Snackbar's new adventure at Moore Freight Services

Can't afford it. Where I live, daycab jobs pay too low to live on. Besides, I would only have half my stuff in 6 months because I drive my wife nuts when I am home too much...she'd kick me to the curb.

 

For the record, the Mcleod dispatch system SUCKS!!!! It hides empty miles, or I should say, it omits showing empty miles on load info so you really don't know how bad your week sucks in terms of miles until it's too late.

And Mascot is up to the same old crap. Lots of loads in Spring Hill, 5 drivers waiting, and nobody has been given anything. In my humble opinion, Wiley fired the wrong people!!! They should have started at the top and worked their way down.

 

Finally got a load. It was loaded on the 7th, but was after noon today before they sent it to me. Thanks to the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, it delivers Tuesday in St. Augustine, QC.

One thing that has changed for the better being with Wylie, the paid miles have increased a little on each load. This load use to pay 1495 miles, now it pays 1504 miles (the nag-a-gator on my dash says it 1510 miles). Pretty much every load I have hauled has seen an increased loaded mile tally.

 

Yeah, everything is in French, but I have a universal translator.

 

This company merger is the most screwed up deal I have ever had to deal with. Was sent a load last Friday heading to Quebec. Was asked when I could be here, told them, because of the Canadian Thanksgiving, Tuesday would work. Asked my dispatcher yesterday if it was a 7 am delivery this morning, he said yes. I get here, unload and am still sitting. 4 other trucks were in, out and on to other loads. I get grumpy. My dispatcher calls me and give me hell because I was suppose to del tomorrow, not today...I exploded on him...Friday I said Tuesday, yesterday he said Tuesday...when did it become Weds...I am trying to hold out until after the holidays before I shove this truck up someone's ###...but the way it is going, I will be lucky if it takes that long

 

I was thinking about some physical therapy.
