    I know 80 is the usual route..but Iowa is about as boring as the northeast.
    Weather is fine, plan on taking 90 to rapid City and going southwest from there..through Casper and rawlins.
    Any issues?

    Also known as the ##### trail by those that run the northern route.

    Nothing wrong with 90, if you're afraid of snow then go south. My trucks will appreciate one less truck up there.

    I'd rather travel south dakota, wyoming and Utah..rather than Iowa Nebraska and Colorado...

    Winter of 98, near Sheridan WY Ice palace. Car came up behind me and doubles tanker at 70+ a mile back downhill. Plenty of time to get the old 35mm out take a shoot rewind film to next shoot with me doing 15 on interlock. Another day another dollar.

    Im pretty sure someone got them out of there with horses eventually. They wont be doing that again anytime soon with a shiny new car.
