Ok this thing is driving me nuts it sets there and beebs every 10 second or so Beep Beep - 10 seconds Beep Beeep.

The problem I’ve got is I can’t figure out how to use it. Everything I’ve read says there should be a screen and up and down temp buttons except there isn’t. I can hit power and hear it turn on but it just runs. I’m pretty sure it runs off the diesel because I’ve got an actual exhaust out under the back of the cab and it does have internal heat vents that come out from under the cabinet it’s in so I’m assuming it’s a heater?

Any input? Thanks I’ve never used one before but this almost looks half way installed then they stopped.

There won't necessarily be a screen. Many only come with an on/off switch and a temperature dial. I've never seen one like this, but look around elsewhere in the bunk for a temperature dial (it won't go off the HVAC controls AFAIK). It might be hiding in a closet or under the bed. This looks like just the control to turn it on and off.

Here you go: Espar Multi Max F1000 Diesel Coolant Heater Controller

It looks like this unit is just an engine coolant heater, not a bunk heater, and it's settings will have to be set by the fleet/owner of the truck via computer. Does heat come out from the vents when it's on or is it just blowing air? It might not be setup to blow heat until it reaches a certain temperature outside, and the beeping is likely a low-voltage indicator.

Edit: Did some more reading, and yes, this looks like the controller unit for the Espar Hydronic system, the coolant heater, not the bunk heater. Both run off diesel fuel and would have an exhaust.

Check for a unit that looks like this under the bed:

If you don't have something that looks like that, chances are it's the coolant heater.

It does not appear to blow air however it does turn on when I hit the button. I will look for an SD card maybe I can set it. The batteries are new as of last December but anything is possible. I may just unhook it all together if the sd doesn’t work. We don’t idle much where I work anyways.

It would be handy when I’m at home come winter if it did good enough to keep the block warmed up and not need a block heater! It’s worth a shot. I didn’t realize it was a coolant heater.m

    Thank you.

That is an espar multi-max F1000 control.

It is a programmable unit that has to have their software for it to make it work right.

This all I can see of the unit. Up underneath the cab it has a long exhaust coming off it to the back. I heard it running one time and that’s all. I hit the button and you hear something but I can’t tell what it is. I’ll have to crawl under and get a good picture of the sticker now that I’ve found it. Not today though it’s pouring rain and very muddy.
