O/O Suggestions for companies working from Arizona to California

    Hello all,

    I am currently an owner op for jb Hunt in Los Angeles, Ca
    I am tryna relocate to Phoenix Arizona due to the cost of living. Meaning that i will be running out of AZ

    I have ran out to other states through out my trucking career but i have done local work for the last 10 years. With that said, i am trying to at least stay in the AZ to CA run and maybe to Nevada. I no longer want to be OTD. I am looking for a company that would allow me to drive dry/ containers drop and hook from AZ to SOCAL.

    While asking other drivers, I have learned that Knight, Swift and XPO do runs from AZ to CA but that pay is not that great.

    I wouldn't mind staying out two or three times a week if needed.

    I would appreciate your help. TIA

    @Dave_in_AZ maybe knows of some intermodal outfits or other type trucking in Phoenix that do those runs.

    O/O freight out of Phoenix is really down currently.

    All the ol' iron crowd is cutting each others throat cause they get to Arizona and stop.

    You have two of the megas there, and now Schneider has joined them to take up a large portion of dry van commodity.

    There's some dry van, but it's more specialized.

    JBH has a big intermodal there.

    Navajo Express has, maybe still has, a dedicated run between Phoenix and Denver.
    Don't know if they use 0/0's or not. Call and ask.

    CDL Class A Driver Arizona-Texas runs
    Stars and Stripes Freight Lines LLC - Phoenix, AZ
    Need Drivers Class A with Hazmat ,Tanker ,Duble -Triple endorsments for team run from Phoenix to Houston 2 times a week
    4 days on road 3 days off...$1,200.00
    Dry van
    Easy run ...drop and hook at same yards.
