I'm looking at this gasket that goes on for my gear shift.

I see perforations on this. Do these gaskets cover a bunch of different transmissions and you have to break out the area thats perforated for your application?

As I set the gasket down on top of the transmission it does not look like I would need the center part.

They do fit a broad range of applications. But there’s a lot of trial & error & try again with that gasket. What your seeing as punch outs and different bolt holes are drains. They figured out were they need to be so the tower doesn’t hold oil.

Just make sure you line up the holes in it for the springs.

mhyn and Dino soar Thank this.

Those three holes should line up with the detent balls iirc, I would just use as is
.Match it up on the shift tower and make sure there is room in the center hole for it.

    Dino soar Thanks this.

you have latest gasket. it's for many Eaton fuller transmissions. Changed it on my 10 speed in September. $9 at freightliner dealers :)
