    You'll have to forgive me, I'm not following you. Are you referring to when the most crashes occur?

    The first bullet point from the op's link says
    Most fatal trucking crashes occur between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., peaking at the 1 p.m. hour with 676 fatal crashes

    This goes along the lines with what you're saying...

    Another thing left off, or at least I didn't see it, is the level of experience/ of the drivers involved in crashes. I'd be interested to see what the percentages are based on the experience level.

    Federal data says otherwise, Federal law makes it illegal to act on said data.

    Their study didn't note the percentage of truck drivers that were at fault in these crashes.

    On phones .
    Way over the speed limit .
    Drunk or drugged.
    Following way to close .
    In a hurry.
    Driving to fast for conditions.
    Poorly trained .
    And just plain stupid .
