WHOA! At first glance, I thought the title of this discussion thread was "Sexy and racy." Whoops, guess I came to the wrong place.

    No.

It’s a great job for anyone. With the right choices and commitment, it pays exceptionally well.

    Yes.

You always respect another driver. Driver. Regardless of color/sex/nationality etc. Until proven otherwise.

But never expect the same treatment.

Just because someone has a million miles with a company does not mean they are beyond reproach... He wouldnt speak like that to the Boss... Especially if the Boss was a woman. And IMO anyone who speaks like that to a woman isnt a man.

Run his was up the flag pole for all its worth.

One of the main qualifications of going to work in a mega trucking company office is the ability to put up with racists, bigots, misogynists, room temperature IQs, socially retarded and assorted other winos, dinos, and dingbats on a daily basis.
    Small companies are better.

when i worked at the former NEMF for a few years, i knew how to perform a work SLOWDOWN if anyone got on my nerves.

i ain't a big guy or a tough guy, but i CAN BUST BALLS in such a way, no one would trust my intentions if they got out of thier truck. and believe me, at the Elizabeth, NJ terminal, no one was polite to wait 2 seconds, let alone 2 minutes..and i COULD drop and hook (or what we called back then,,,drop and slam'em) pretty darned fast too back in the day.

but i never really felt threatened or pushed by anyone.....i'll simply move SLOWER... that really got thier blood to boil...lol.

Clara3 my guess your company will know about this incident without you reporting it. Public forum anyone can read. You basically named the place and day everyone ELD time this guy will be easily spotted. He also would have been upset with anyone in his way. Now he might not have went off on a man like that. Chalk it up as dealing a dip ####. Tomorrow is a new day.
