How do you handle this situation when you are at a shipper/receiver for a live load/live unload and they have a sign up stating “no public restrooms”?

Sadly if you really have to go.... pee in a bottle. Poop? I refuse to poop in a bucket/bag I will simply strongly insist on using a rest room or they will have to accommodate the situation by allowing me to disconnect from the trailer while I look for the nearest restroom.

Since when are suppliers, vendors (i.e. truckers) "the public"?

My thoughts exactly. We didn’t just wander in off the street to use the restroom

There's a minority that ruins it for the rest of us. I was using a shower at a Loves I think about 2 months ago. I heard the Loves employee happily whistling some tune past my shower to clean the shower next to me. He enters the shower and I hear him say... "Oh dear god!" About half a minute of silence, then he just leaves.

Felt bad for him. Left him $5 on the counter. Hopefully that helped him keep a somewhat pleasant evening.

But so far I haven't had a distribution center or any of my dedicated customers refuse me a bathroom so far. I have been fortunate.

Some of the no shower steering wheel holders you can thank for that.
Heck some don't care about terminal showers either.

There is a human chemical toilet bought from a major camping, hunting retailer ready to go in the sleeper. Waste number two is essentially human kitty litter, bagged and disposed of. Liquid waste clumped up and bagged and disposed of. Since it's biogradable all you need is a shovel. A foot down, drop in cover it.

I've walked to where I found a place that would let me use their bathroom a couple times.

Couple times took a leak behind a dumpster or found a corner, hoping no one complained if spotted or cops drive by.

Then I'll never go back there again.

On a side note- Some dude in Vegas was standing near a corner pissing into the street by an AMPM. Full stream.

One place in MN, makes satellite dishes, they require NO restrooms. Fine.

Catwalk bathroom time. Problem. Staffer waited 5 feet behind me with load bills. She squawked. I told her thats what happens when you refuse people bathrooms.

When the yelling stopped at many levels I was not to be sent there to load again. Just as well.
